[Yes, every situation is unique.]
I can hold a Shell Stock from minutes to years.

Some I've bought when a Shell Stock has issued a press release or SEC filing stating a reverse merger, and sold minutes later.

Others I've held for years waiting for a reverse merger.

As far as returns, I strive to make a positive return, although that does not happen all the time. Some Shell Stocks I've sold before they announce a reverse merger because they become overvalued in my opinion. Other Shell Stocks have announced a reverse merger and I’ve held because they appear undervalued.

A couple questions to all you experienced in the "shell game",

What is the average time period that you hold a shell stock for? Are we talking years, months, weeks, days, hours?

Also, what kind of return do you strive for with a shell stock? I guess it depends on the situation. Any answers would be helpful.
