[AZTC - Aztec Technology Partners, Inc.]
AZTC was very active today, trading 3,971,699 shares and up 300%, from $0.003 to $0.012. The high was $0.015. AZTC was added to the Profile List on 5/8/07 (PINK: 0.003 x 0.004).

I’ve been accumulating AZTC since March after they filed a FORM 15 to terminate their SEC filing requirements. Prior to this, their last SEC filing was in Feb 2002. AZTC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on 10/5/2001. In their last 10Q filing, they stated they had 24,009,781 shares outstanding as of 08/08/2001.

So what happened to the company between 2002 and March 2007? About the only thing that is stated in public filings is that Joseph J. Meuse, director of Belmont Partners LLC, acquired 50,000,000 shares on 03/09/2007. So I assume there is about 74,009,781 shares outstanding.

Who is Joseph J. Meuse and his Belmont Partners? From the Belmont website:

"Belmont Partners, LLC is a national consulting firm and leader in reverse mergers, specializing in taking private businesses and transforming them into public enterprises. The firm has successfully taken over 60 businesses since inception, with a total market capitalization in excess of $1 billion. The firm maintains an extensive inventory of corporate vehicles spanning all market sectors, including Bulletin Board, Pink Sheets, Gray and other OTC traded companies, as well as non-traded companies. In addition, Belmont Partners provides strategic financial advisory services to companies who are executing reverse merger transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. The cornerstone of Belmont Partners is a steadfast commitment to quality, integrity, and client success.

Belmont Partners was founded in 2003 by Joseph Meuse who has over 13 years of experience in the industry. Headquartered just outside of the Washington DC metropolitan area in Washington, Virginia, the firm also maintains branch offices in California, New York, Northern Virginia, and Texas, and expects to open additional offices in the near future. Belmont Partners serves clients in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Belmont Partners, LLC is affiliated with Rosewood Securities, Inc, a broker/dealer member firm of NASD and SIPC, which offers investment banking services and securities for reverse mergers.
